In the battle for tech supremacy, Microsoft is working on eyeglasses that would project information "about actions and objects occurring within an event and within the user's field of view." Just imagine: you're at a Knicks game and all of Carmelo Anthony's stats are scrolling across your view of the court. Pretty amazing, right?
As detailed by Salvador Rodriguez for Tech Now: "Microsoft is working on a device that delivers information about live events to a person wearing a head-mounted display. One of the drawings included in Microsoft's patent application shows the device could come in the form of eyeglasses. The Microsoft device would connect to a processing unit that you could wear on your wrist like a band. The processing unit would connect to the glasses either via a wire or using a wireless technology such as Bluetooth."
20/20 vision just took on a whole new meaning.
