Snapchat is simple enough: take a picture or video, select a few names from a list, and hit send. But the more you use it, and the more "friends" you end up sending Snaps to, the more things you have to pay attention to. It could be easy getting caught up sending a semi-embarrassing video to a dozen people from different walks of your life, but not every Snap should be treated equally. Like, if you're out with your boys and getting wasted, you could at least spare your girlfriend the sight. Or if you're out having the time of your life, don't Snap the person you easily could have invited — but didn't. Here are 10 Snapchat Rules Every Man Should Follow. Etiquette doesn't stop with selfies.

If your girlfriend is on Snapchat, don't frequently send pics to a girl that isn't her...
Don't duckface in selfies. In fact, keep the selfies to a minimum if you don't know the person well.
Leave some things to the imagination. Girls aren't lining up to see pics of your package.
Show your funny side.
Don't send foodporn. No one cares. (Unless it's bacon.)
Don't have a conversation over Snaps. If you don't already have their number, get it and take the convo elsewhere.
Don't send too many group Snaps. People can tell when they aren't specifically for them.
Keep the Snaps per day to a minimum. Think twice when you're getting into double digits.
When Snapchatting that girl you're trying to get at, make her feel special.
The Golden Rule: Don't send anything you'd regret.
