A tragic accident has stopped filming for TNT's Falling Skies. Last night a security guard was killed on set in Vancouver when an unattended truck rolled down a hill and pinned him between the vehicle and a tree. His name hasn't been released, but a spokesperson for WorkSafeBC confirmed the man was hired for security and was standing near the 5-ton truck when the incident happened.
There's no word on when filming will resume for the sci-fi thriller, but that should be the last thing on anyone's mind right now. Police and WorkSafeBC are currently investigating the incident.
