Jen Affleck is a star on the hit reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and a current contestant on this season of Dancing With the Stars. She’s currently competing with her pro dance partner, Jan Ravnik, who is a choreographer and former backup dancer for Taylor Swift.
Ravnik was recently hit with some pretty harsh criticism coming from none other than Dancing With the Stars alumnus, Maks Chmerkovskiy. Chmerkovskiy was on 17 seasons of the show as a professional dancer and won the Mirrorball trophy once during season 18.
While on a podcast episode with his wife, Peta Murgatroyd, Chmerkovskiy slammed Ravnik, saying that he doesn’t believe he should have ever been cast on the show. He criticized everything from Ravnik’s technique to his ability to teach, alleging that Affleck was at a disadvantage because she was assigned him as a partner.
Affleck is making it clear that she doesn’t believe that’s the case at all. She posted a recent TikTok video with the caption, “Me when anyone trash talks Jan.” The video showed her sitting alongside Ravnik, vigorously typing on her phone, seeming to suggest she was typing a response to Chmerkovskiy’s criticism.
Meanwhile, an audio plays in the background saying, “Take it down, take it down, take it down, we need it gone. That doesn’t represent me or what we need to be doing.”
So while Ravnik may not want Affleck to defend him publicly, she’s making it clear that she would not hesitate to do so if she could.
