Kristin Cavallari, yes the one you loved to hate on Laguna Beach, recently opened up about just how incredible her husband, retired NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, is during a taping on her latest reality show venture—Very Cavallari.
In the promotional clip, the mother-of-three is seen telling her friends, while on a trip to Cabo San Lucas, of a time when Cutler, who's sitting next to her, helped her during a breastfeeding emergency. "I had major clogged ducts. Jay had to get them out for me, sucking harder than he’s ever sucked." The mid-season trailer then cuts to Cavallari in the confessional saying "And you know what? Saved my life."
Both Cavallari and Cutler appear unfazed after sharing the story, however their dinner guests didn't react as such. The video was desperately edited to include a shot of one of their friends coughing into a napkin as if she's about to throw up. Clogged ducts are not an irregular occurrence among women who are breastfeeding.
Cavallari and Cutler have three children together: two sons who are four and six-years-old, and one daughter who is three.
The former quarterback retired from the NFL after an 11-year career on the field, which ended after his brief stint playing for the Miami Dolphins in 2017. Prior to his commitments in Florida, Cutler had agreed to become an analyst for FOX Sports, however the deal was never realized on account of him returning to the game for a one-year contract.
During an interview with People in February, Cavallari opened up about what it's like at home with Jay no longer playing in the NFL. "He’s always around — I leave, he’s home, I come home, he’s home," she jokingly explained. "[But] it’s nice having him home so that he can pick the boys up from school or, like right now, I’m here in New York and he’s at home with the kids. He’s mr. mom right now, it’s been really nice."
