Documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, the guy responsible for the Academy Award nominated film Super Size Me and FX series 30 Days, will bring a docu-series to Showtime. The series is called Seven Deadly Sins, and deals with the seven deadly sins, obviously.
Spurlock will host the series and won't go gonzo like he's done with the aforementioned projects. This is probably for the best.
So long as we don't have any Se7en type of situation, it's all good. It's best to not know what's in the box.
Spurlock's CNN series Morgan Spurlock: Inside Man premieres on April 6th. As for Seven Deadly Sins: That will make its debut June 19th at 11 p.m. on Showtime.
