Aaron McGruder has been a little busy lately: For one, his live action show, Black Jesus, just got the green-light from Adult Swim, which is awesome! And, secondly—season four of his animated series, The Boondocks, has an air date that is, thankfully, right around the corner. FINALLY. The show will return to Adult Swim on April 21st at 10:30 p.m. EDT, news that the network slyly advertised earlier this year.
The teaser is Adult Swim's way of making a formal announcement. So, fans of McGruder's biting satire mark your calendars, it's been four long years since you've seen Riley, Huey, and Grandad.
