Smartphones are essentially an extension of the individuals that use them. We use them to connect with people through social media, get in touch with friends through text, or voice and video calls. As much as we may not like to admit it, most of us are glued to our smartphones like nothing else in our lives. With a plethora of mobile devices available today, it's almost impossible to pick which one is right for you. However, when you finally get around to it, what you choose typically says a lot about the kind of person you are. Whether you're using hyped-up Apple products or the less publicized Moto X, each phone has a typical "user." Here is What Your Smartphone Says About You.

Galaxy Note 3
Most Likely: The uber businessman who thinks a phone and a tablet should exist as one.
Too small to be a tablet, too big to be a phone. This weird 2-in-1 is perfect for a businessman who thinks he's too important to have a normal phone. Granted, it's features are pretty amazing, but having a regular smartphone along with a tablet is just fine—everyone does it.
Moto X
Most Likely: The soccer mom who has no idea what iPhone model is out and refers to Androids as Droids, or the teen who has too many band posters up on his wall.
The Moto X is perfect for people who want to stay up to date with the latest technology, but don't have any idea what's going on in the tech world. The Moto X is simpler to use than a lot of other smartphones: Think of it as the transitional phone between an old school flip phone and an iPhone. But, for the 17-year-old kid who still has posters of Blink-182 up on his walls, he can customize the device's body from a selection of as many colors as he wants, using Moto Maker.
Google Nexus 5
Most Likely: A tech developer who cares more about the software of the phone than the hype around it.
Although this phone will never reach the hype level of an iPhone or Galaxy, it's a more than decent mobile. However, the only people you'll see using the Nexus 5 are the people who actually develop them.
Motorola Droid
Most Likely: A person who has flip-phone withdrawl.
Motorola (which is now owned by Google) has been constantly linked with disappointing smartphones ever since Apple and Samsung took over the market. However, this may be it's coolest piece of technology to date outside of the Moto X. But, that still doesn't mean it's the coolest thing in the smartphone store. Let's get real, it's not a smartphone if there's a keyboard.
Nokia Lumia 1020
Most Likely: A PC user.
The Nokia Lumia Windows phone may have some perks, like it's uber cool camera. But it's kind of like a person getting a Dell today, instead of a Macbook: Doesn't make much sense.
HTC One
Most Likely: A person who knows the value of a good phone and works somewhere in the art industry; or a young person who loves music.
One of the few phones that is comparable to the design that Apple put into the iPhone. Hating on this phone is close to impossible: it's filled with features that are actually useful, including BoomSound, which places its speakers on the front of the body, instead of the top or bottom. However, most people still opt for the more hyped phones that haven't caught on to this design. Oh, well.
iPhone 5C
Most Likely: A hipster who thinks the 5C colors reflect their personality.
Not only did Apple introduce a new, affordable version of the iPhone (in comparison to the 5S), but they also released it in a bunch of different colors. If you happen to take a stroll through Williamsburg one day, you will, without question, see every hipster carrying this phone around thinking they're making a statement about individuality.
Galaxy S4
Most Likely: A tech geek that knows Apple has nothing on Samsung.
The next big thing really is here. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has the most features of any smart phone on the market today. Making it perfect phone for tech geeks who know what the deal is.
iPhone 5S
Most Likely: A Hypebeast-wearing blogger working his way up in a media company.
It's obvious that iPhones are the thing that's in right now—and by "right now," we mean since 2007. But if you take a closer look at the Apple devotees you'll quickly notice that most of them are Hypebeasts. If you use an iPhone, it's likely that you place great importance on your appearance, use Twitter daily, have a Tumblr, and are up to date with pop culture news. Either that or you own all Apple products and had no choice, and decided to buy a 5S because it was the next logical step in your evolution.
