'What Are Those' Meme Creator Brandon Moore's Death Ruled Accidental Overdose

His blood tested positive for cocaine, morphine, codeine, methamphetamine, and ecstasy.

In November, Brandon Moore—the creator of the iconic "What are those" meme—was pronounced dead after his wife found him unresponsive in their Northern California home. The Contra Costa County coroner's office has ruled his death an accidental overdose, according to TMZ.

Moore accidentally ingested a lethal mixture of drugs. His blood tested positive for cocaine, morphine, codeine, methamphetamine, and ecstasy. Moore's wife said he drank and possibly used cocaine the night before his death.

Moore, aka Young Busco, rose to internet stardom in 2015 when he filmed a vine of him making fun of a police officer's boots. The "What are those" catchphrase has become a staple in popular culture, notably appearing in Black Panther.

The 31-year-old leaves behind nine children, his wife Radelle "Noonie" Martin, and his mother Valerie Cooper.

"Busco lived, and the world knows he lived," Moore's mother told People. "He left something for everybody. His Instagram, pictures, and stories and skits and raps, all of that is there forever. He left something for all of us and I’m proud."
