Tracy Morgan is said to be recovering well from his life-threatening accident over the weekend, but that does not mean that the actor and comedian is in the clear just yet.
With Morgan recovering from surgery to help heal his many broken bones, there are now reports that his leg may be in danger of needing to be amputated. A hospital source has told Media Takeout:
This is hearsay at best, so by no means does this mean Morgan’s leg will be amputated. However, it does hammer home the seriousness of the crash and how lucky the comedian is to be alive at all.

UPDATE: THR is reporting that the Wal-Mart truck driver who hit Morgan's limo bus had not slept in over 24 hours at the time of the crash. A criminal complaint has been filed in Trenton, NJ district court citing the driver's sleep deprivation as one of the causes of the accident. He'll have his initial court appearance on Wednesday morning, where will be charged with death by auto and four counts of assault by auto.
