Naturally, along with the first trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has come a number of parodies and mashups. First we had a Lego version, then a George Lucas version, and now comes the next level in Star Wars mockery/tributes: a mashup with the 1987 classic Space Balls.
You have to admit, everything works pretty well here; from the opening shot to the final one (and with a little Schwartz action in between), this version matches The Force Awakens almost perfectly. Let’s hope that this means that Bill Pullman is somehow involved in this “new” movie, Space Balls: The Schwartz Awakens.
