There is something about the upcoming HBO series The Leftovers that is just so creepy. We think it may have to do with the emotionless, expressionless cult members who seem to be walking around like zombies and not doing a whole lot of anything.
This new trailer puts the anxiety of the titular leftovers (those who remained on earth when two percent of the world’s population simply vanished one day) on full display, with lots of shouting, violence, and even a dusting of suicide all set to the harmony of Fleetwood Mac.
This does not look like a happy town.
