NBC’s upcoming drama Constantine has been the subject of much hype, and in the second trailer (above) a couple hints are dropped about what other DC Comics heroes may be joining the fun.
At one point, we see Constantine (Matt Ryan) holding up a helmet that looks suspiciously like that of Dr. Fate, someone who helps other heroes out when they need an expert in dispatching supernatural villains. We also see a rather pale looking man in a fedora, who may (or may not) be Phantom Stranger, another DC character specializing in fighting magical beings.
Whether these are merely red herrings or if there’s actually something to these flashes, we can’t say. At worst, we’ll start to get some answers when Constantine debuts on October 24th.
