The U.S. Census Bureau is going digital. The governmental arm that keeps track of, well, everything is planning on dropping three mobile apps in the near future, and the first one has just arrived. Called American's Economy, the app gives a real-time snapshot of how the economy is doing by pulling data from the Department of Commerce and the Department Labor. You can get a glimpse the employment rate, the nation's GDP, and the home ownership rate. The first app is currently only available for Android through the Google Play store for free. There's an iOS version in the works, and the next two apps will reportedly be available for both platforms.
