This morning Google dropped its new iOS 5 Gmail app, then quickly pulled it from the Apple App Store because it "contained a bug which broke notifications and caused users to see an error message when first opening the app".
We haven't had a chance to use the app, but according to Google the app will focus on making the Gmail mailbox more efficient by bringing with it threaded email messages, a priority mailbox, and push notifications for when you get a new message. It also worked to utilize touch features so you can easily maneuver around the app. For example, if you want to refresh your inbox, you simply pull down the inbox.
We'll give you a more indepth look when we actually download it. While you wait with us, take a look at the screenshots above.
