Like Spotify before it, Rdio will also offer a free plan for music streaming—sans ads, too. While the service might not boast as big a library as its competitors such as Spotify and MOG—it veers more towards new releases—Rdio’s offerings are a higher quality (consistently at 320 kbps). Not to mention, its mobility is perhaps its greatest strength given its availability on more phones and offline access via handset syncing.
In just a matter of months, music-streaming options have become aplenty due to forays from Google to Best Buy to Sony, but specialists such as Rdio now stand as probably the best bets.
