Lindsay Lohan and her husband, Bader Shammas, have welcomed their first child together.

TMZ reports that the actress gave birth to a baby boy in Dubai on Monday. Their child’s name is Luai Shammas, an Arabic name that means “shield or protector.”

"The family is over the moon in love,” a rep told the outlet. Members of her family are apparently on their way to Dubai—where Lohan and Shammas live—to see Luai.

Lohan announced her pregnancy in March. “We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!” she told TMZ at the time.

A month later, she and Shammas traveled to New York to see her family. According to the outlet, it was the first time her parents, her two brothers, Cody and Michael Jr., and her sister, Aliana had seen everyone together in at least seven years.

Lohan and Shammas said their I do’s last summer, revealing their nuptials on her birthday. The couple started dating prior to the pandemic and later got engaged in November 2021.
