The wait for How High 2 is almost over.

On Friday, MTV Studios released a new trailer for the stoner comedy sequel starring Lil Yachty and DC Young Fly as two "potrepreneurs." Deadline reports that the sequel will follow two best friends—Roger (Yachty) and Calvin (DC Young Fly)—as they embark "on a magical hash-fueled journey to fund their on-demand munchies delivery start-up." The script was penned by Family Guy's Shawn Ries and Artie Johann, Workaholics' Alex Blagg, and Powerless' Neel Shah.

The one-and-a-half minute clip provides more details about the plot, and confirms cameos by DeRay Davis, Nene Leakes, Lil Baby, Blac Youngsta, Justine Skye, and Mike Epps, who will reprise his role as Baby Powder.

The film will premiere April 20, aka, the cannabis holiday 4/20, on MTV.

Redman and Method Man, the stars of the original How High (2001), will not appear in the sequel. During an October 2018 appearance on the Grass Routes podcast, Red explained why he and Meth weren't involved in the project—and it wasn't because they were uninterested.

"Long story short is that me and Meth was not aware that they were doing this transaction with the movie," Red said, before clarifying he was not upset with Yachty or DC Young Fly. "[...] But my thing is when you have a brand, like Red and Meth, that kind of helped built and created this entity of How High and shooting a movie on marijuana and being in college […] those were all of our ideas. And when the deal came about, we wasn’t involved in it."
