Netflix, the leading Internet streaming media, partners with DreamWorks Animation to deliver more exclusive and original content for children.

Owning the first-run rights to more than 300 hours of DreamWorks programs, Netflix will kick off the collaboration next year following a TV show adaption of movie, Turbo, in December.

Because of the success with series such as House of Cards and Arrested Development, Netflix now aims at expanding its children's content and will create new shows based on characters from DreamWorks films. In 2014, the company will begin airing animated movies such as The CroodsMr. Peabody and Sherman simultaneously.
