It has been understandably tough for Tracy Morgan since the June crash on the New Jersey Turnpike that left him with a broken leg, nose and ribs, and killed his friend, comedian James McNair.
Morgan's attorney Benedict Morelli told the Star-Ledger that Morgan uses a wheelchair and may not be able to walk again for months. The lawyer told the newspaper that Morgan is making "incremental progress," but "they'll have to wait another month before they assess him cognitively."
Morgan has been recovering at home since being released from a rehabilitation facility in July.
The limo bus Morgan was riding on was struck by a Wal-Mart truck in the six-car accident. The driver of that truck pleaded not guilty to charges of vehicular homicide and assault by auto.
Morgan filed a federal lawsuit against Wal-Mart for negligence.
