If you were out in Manhattan this weekend, you may have seen the mass of protesters marching uptown up Sixth Avenue from Washington Square Park to protest police brutality. And if you looked very closely, you could have spotted director Quentin Tarantino among them.

From Variety

“I’m a human being with a conscience,” said the “Hateful Eight” director at the rally, according to media reports. “And if you believe there’s murder going on then you need to rise up and stand up against it. I’m here to say I’m on the side of the murdered.”

Is he earning some goodwill after some people took a negative view of his thoughts on race and culture in a recent interview in the New York Times?
