A 12-year-old girl allegedly made her mom a bleach smoothie as revenge for taking away her iPhone, according to a report from Reuters.
The mom had apparently written off the breakfast smoothie as a mistake, thinking that the glass hadn't been washed thoroughly by the girl after it was cleaned with bleach (although who washes their dishes with bleach).
The mother drank the bleach smoothie and went to the hospital that first time, but she became suspicious a few days later when she smelled bleach again, this time in a pitcher of water she kept in her room. Most moms would have become suspicious when their 12-year-olds started voluntarily doing the dishes and making them smoothies, but hey.
She confronted her daughter, found out about the iPhone plot and called police, who had enough evidence to arrest the girl.
