Every game has key roles it needs fulfilled – hero, villain, supporting cast and yes, sometimes, even strippers. With the increase in mature gaming, we’ve come a long way from pipe-jumping plumbers to a realism that includes the grittiness of a world filled with violence and sex. Perhaps they’re dancing on a pole in a city of crime and vehicular mayhem or they’re grinding on a space station in the far future. Either way, strippers and exotic dancers have had a long history in gaming where the dollars or the 1Ups rain. These are Complex’s 10 Hot Exotic Dancers In Video Games.

Suburb Strip Club Dancers

Saint's Row 2

The girls of the Suburb Strip Club are not the best but give them credit: they know how to take it off, they know how to dance and they know how to hide when the bullets start flying! Your character can hang out and enjoy the show or they can wild out and let the blasting start. While THQ’s second entry in the series featured girls that were blown out of the water by the potential of its third entry’s custom females, one has to respect the gritty crime game’s attempt at sexiness. Add to that Saints Row 2 which featured adult film star Tera Patrick and you have something worth mentioning.

Zena

Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude

This hot little stripper shows up to blow Larry Lovage’s (nephew of the original Larry) mind while he’s just trying to get through school! Zena shows up in a naughty schoolgirl outfit and grinds for Larry’s pleasure. After her dance, she’s found leaning nude against a wall inviting the gamer to spank her with a fly-swatter. Sierra Entertainment and High Voltage released two versions of this game, one of which featured full nudity and uncensored sex games. While Magna Cum Laude was one of the last games in the series, Zena was a great way to go out.

The Garden Of Eden Girls

Mafia 2

When Vito Scarletta and long-time friend Joe Barbaro are out on the town, they end up in the presence of local dancers. A mix of an after-hours joint and the Playboy club, the stripper scene in Mafia 2 sends players back to the 50’s. Gamers experience the Rat Pack era, see some cleavage and hear some truly foul and degrading words thrown at the dancers. A lot of the sexy bunny knock-offs even tread the line of prostitutes. 2K Games’ Mafia 2 was a throw-away game but these dancers made a brief moment in stripper history.

Madison

Heavy Rain

In Sony and Quantic Dream’s psychological thriller, Madison Paige is a journalist. But due to her striptease-distraction of a shady nightclub manager, Ms. Paige had to make this list. As she gets down to her rather sexy underwear, Madison gives us enough wiggle and dirty talk to prove her rain making skills. Follow her dancing up with some bad-ass lamp swinging, squeezing testicles for information and faking an orgasm to distract security, Madison Paige is one arousing video game stripper. The shower scene and her quick ease let's us know that there's a lot more going on than journalism.

Varla Gunns

House Of The Dead OVERKILL

Stripper, hot chick and zombie killing machine – what else could you ask for in the champagne room? While most exotic dancers claim a trick or two, Gunns can level a room of howling undead with shotguns and unchallenged cleavage. Her high-heels, micro mini-skirt and fellow stripper sidekick, Gunns swears, shoots and offers gamers a view of pure hotness with an attitude. Unfortunately, Varla meets a questionable end but this fiery pole-climber will always leave a hole in our hearts (probably because she shot first.)

Asari Dancer

Mass Effect 2

The Asari of Bioware’s Mass Effect universe are feared warriors, gifted scientists and sexually gifted nymphomaniacs. Perhaps it are these facts and the looming alien threat that called for this dancer to be added to the list. With her aqua skin and head-tentacles, she grinds on the table for Shepard’s pleasure. Not to mention she has also entertained an interspecies bachelor party to boot! Of course death from the Reapers’ Collectors is at hand but even space heroes can stop for some thong watching.

Yakuza Strippers

Yakuza 3

They’re not the prettiest and aren't great dancers but they’ll get the job done! The young ladies gyrating in Sega’s Yakuza 3 will perform lengthy dance numbers the best they can for your entertainment. While they may shake it, there's really little that they even have to shake. You’re better off with a mini-game of Ping Pong. During your one-on-one with a local beauty, you can power up your ball’s serve by stealing glances and staring at your opponent’s slipping kimono. Nice.

"Midnight Show" Ladies

The Saboteur

Fighting Nazis in occupied France can be a seedy job of information trading and fast car getaways. When freedom fighter and vengeance-seeking driver Sean Devlin is not punching Hitler’s boys in the face, he’s recouping and digging for details while these Parisian ladies shake their stuff. Although this weak game entry seemed to be the swan song for developer Pandemic, it did feature the Midnight Show DLC which added more brothels and even complete nudity to the dancers. Fighting fascism and jack-booted thugs never looked so good.

The Duke Nukem Dancers

Duke Nukem 3D

Hail to the chief! Crew-cut and muscle bound, Duke Nukem made history with the titular 3D first person shooter over a decade ago. What sent boys to downloading and moms to picketing, where the lascivious ladies dancing in the pig-alien infested strip club. While our hero growled “Shake it ladies!” these girls would jiggle their fair-pixelated breasts and Duke would throw money. While this was mind-blowing at the time, these pole cats don’t withstand the test of time compared to today’s graphics – but they’ll always have a place in the heart of 1996.

The Pole Position Dancers

Grand Thef Auto: IV

Welcome to the Pole Position Club and this is far from the classic Atari game. After shooting, robbing and ransacking Liberty City, you can sit back and get a lap dance in the backroom. The scantily clad ladies will grind their g-string holders for your character all while you pay $5 for 5 game minutes. Rockstar spares no expense in fleshing out their game; get enough dances, pay enough money and you’ll complete the club’s main mission. As you complete the mission, you unlock more backrooms each with a better girl than the last. Hats off to the cowgirl who performs sheer magic on the pole.
