UPDATED 10/4, 10:28 a.m. ET: Stacey Dash's domestic violence case has been dropped, TMZ reports. According to USA Today, Dash was bailed out of jail by her husband Jeffrey Marty. Prosecutors will reportedly not pursue the case because the alleged injuries from the incident were too minor.
Dash's husband says the couple looks "forward to getting this behind us." He also said that his wife was arrested despite his protests. "She was arrested over my objection at the time, but due to the pending investigation, I waited to comment until now," Marty wrote on Twitter.

UPDATED 10/1, 8:30 a.m. ET: It's now been revealed that Stacey Dash claimed her husband “conspired to have her arrested” as part of a cover-up for his own alleged violent acts.
Furthermore, per a TMZ update, Dash said in a 911 call that Jeffrey Marty had faked his alleged injuries and coached his three children on what to tell police to ensure she was arrested.

Stacey Dash, best known for a supporting role in Clueless and her questionable politics, has been arrested for domestic violence. As TMZ reports, Dash was arrested on Sunday in Pasco County, Florida following a fight with her husband that turned physical. She allegedly attacked Jeffrey Marty, whom she married in 2018, just 10 days after they met.
Police responded to a call in the evening on Sunday, and when they arrived Dash reportedly pushed and slapped Marty. Officers also noticed scratch marks on his left arm. Shortly after, Dash was taken into custody and is now being held on $500 bail. Authorities have indicated that in the case of domestic violence arrests, people are usually held for 24 hours to allow them to "cool off."
Last year, Dash launched a short-lived run for congress. She was met with criticism upon announcing the decision, and less than two months later she pulled out of the race. "After much prayer, introspection and discussions with my family, I am withdrawing my candidacy for California's 44th Congressional District," she wrote in a statement at the time.
Despite her more recent foray into politics, Dash has remained acting throughout the years. In 2018 she appeared in the Damon Dash-directed/Kanye West-produced Honor Up, and she's currently set to appear in the abortion-oriented political drama Roe v. Wade later this year. The latter of those projects, perhaps unsurprisingly, is financed and directed by conservative businessman Nick Loeb, and will star far-right political pundit Tomi Lahren.
