A new trailer for season 4 of Netflix’s Stranger Things just dropped, and it looks like Eleven isn’t having the best time at school.

The clip, shared to the series’ YouTube channel on Stranger Things Day, shows star Millie Bobby Brown reprising her role as Eleven and going through the motions of life in California.

“Dear Mike,” Eleven writes to Finn Wolfhard’s character. “Today is day 185. I think I have finally adapted. I even like school now. I have made lots of friends. Even so, I am ready for spring break, mostly because I get to see you.”

While she says things are going smooth, her experience at school looks entirely different, as she’s subjected to spitballs, people ignoring her, and more. As for the long-awaited spring break, the camera cuts to gunshots and chaos, proving that maybe things won’t go as anticipated for Eleven and crew in the show’s latest season.

The season was previously announced to be set in the spring of 1986, with its nine episodes being titled “The Hellfire Club,” “Vecna’s Curse,” “The Monster and the Superhero,” “Dear Billy,” “The Nina Project,” “The Dive,” “The Massacre at Hawkins Lab,” “Papa,” and “The Piggyback.” Things are looking pretty intense.

In a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, Wolfhard explained that he couldn’t reveal much about the upcoming season, set to arrive in the summer of 2022, but claimed that it’s “gonna be really messed up.” Check that out here.
