Ubisoft will be adding 100 jobs to its Quebec City studio over the next three years as part of a $125 million dollar investment. Ubisoft will be getting $460,000 from Quebec's government.
"We are proud to accompany Ubisoft in its growth in Quebec. Interactive entertainment is an important vector for the economy in the Quebec City region, and helps to promote Quebec's savoir-faire on an international level," Quebec Premier Pauline Marois said in a prepared statement.
The Quebec City studio's most recent project was Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and its DLC expansion, Freedom Cry. The studio has also worked on the Prince of Persia and Might and Magic franchises and currently employs 320 people.
