London Woman Shuts Down Sleazy Tinder Date Who Wanted a Refund

The dating scene can be brutal, especially when you search for a partner on Tinder. One London woman was issued a £3.50 refund after she went on a coffee date with the biggest douchebag ever. Lauren Crouch's Tinder date demanded she pay him for his coffee expenses after she declined to join him back for dinner. He messed with the wrong girl because Crouch is a blogger and documented the entire exchange on her blog No Bad Dates, Just Good Stories. She even published the messages on her Twitter.

Crouch made it clear to her date that she didn't feel any chemistry, so she turned down a second date. He clearly couldn't handle the rejection because he later texted her that he didn't like "wasting" money because he "prefers to use it on a date with someone else." Crouch offered to donate the £3.50 to a charity of the man's choice so he could reclaim some decency. She even proposed to include his bus fare to the expense.

Instead of of taking the offer, the man demanded she pay him directly. He included his bank account in the message so he could receive the money immediately. Bless her heart for blurring his account number when she posted the messages Twitter.

Crouch told Mashable, that the man seemed pretty mature and intelligent at first. "He seemed to come across as knowing what he wants in life," she said. "I did find it a bit odd when he invited me to dinner after just one coffee, and then left right away." Crouch told Mashable that she's not easily offended, and found the whole thing funny.
