On Sunday night, Donald Trump criticized the country’s greatest national treasure also known as Oprah Winfrey. He called the media mogul “insecure” and challenged her to run a presidential race so he could supposedly "expose" and "defeat" her (*scoff*).

Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!

While visiting Ellen Degeneres, Oprah addressed the criticism Trump laid on her via Twitter. “I don’t like giving negativity power so I just thought ‘what?’” she said.

In summary, this was Oprah's response:

The source of The Donald’s great discontent was a 60 Minutes segment Oprah produced with a group of pro- and anti-Trump voters sharing their opinions on Trump six months after an initial interview with Oprah in fall 2017. He criticized the segment for being "slanted" and "biased," which Oprah explained was the opposite of her goal. “I went back and looked at the tape to see if there was any place that could be true,” she told Ellen. “I called the producer...because when you do 60 Minutes you sit in a room with at least seven other people who critique the piece before you air it. You have a whole other panel of people looking at if it was fair.”

Oprah then explained how she asked producers to include a conservative viewpoint missing from one part of the segment in order to make it more balanced. “When I first saw it I said, ‘There’s something missing here from the conversation,'” she said. “I was working very hard to do the opposite of what I was hate tweeted about so, it’s okay.”

More importantly, Oprah also used her Ellen Show appearance to surprise comedian Tiffany Haddish and praise the Parkland shooting survivors and gun control activists, to whom she just made a major donation. Watch those clips below.
