Margot Robbie returns as Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), a new Warner Bros. entry out next month.

Thursday, the WB team dropped off a new trailer for the Cathy Yan-directed surefire hit. Catch that up top.

Robbie is joined in the eighth DCEU entry by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ewan McGregor, and Ella Jay Basco.

Birds of Prey opens Feb. 7.

Cathy Yan, who wrote and directed Dead Pigs starring Zazie Beetz, previously teased that the story of Prey centers on Robbie's character coming to the realization that she needs no one but herself.

"She doesn't necessarily make friends with the other women, but they come together, and through that they all sort of emancipate themselves throughout the film," Yan toldScreen Rant last month. Yan also discussed her personality-driven approach to the movie, pointing out how her character development-favoring sensibilities are crucial to the success of Birds of Prey.

"That's more important to me, I think, than just blowing the whole world up," Yan said.

Below, peep the official synopsis for Prey, which hints at a truly unique entry in the DCEU:

You ever hear the one about the cop, the songbird, the psycho and the mafia princess? “Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)” is a twisted tale told by Harley herself, as only Harley can tell it. When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis, and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz, put a target on a young girl named Cass, the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley, Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.
