FX has released the Season 2 trailer for its Sons of Anarchy spinoff Mayans M.C. And it's clear the titular motorcycle club has even more on the line in the second round.

"We’ve hit an ugly bump," M.C. president Bishop (Michael Irby) says in the clip's opening. "We gotta do something—or we lose everything."

Season 2 will find Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes (J.D. Pardo) attempting to unveil his family secrets, including his father's (Edward James Olmos) hidden past as well as the circumstances surrounding his mother's death.

"It’s about mom, I know who killed her," EZ reveals to his brother Angel, portrayed by Clayton Cardenas.

What answers will EZ find? Will the revelations cause another war with the Sons? And how will they affect his pursuits of living a life outside the M.C?

Mayans M.C., which became the highest-rated new cable series in 2018, will return to the small screen on Sept. 3. The show's Comic-Con panel will also go down this Sunday at the San Diego Convention Center.

The hit series, co-created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James, takes place in the fictional border town of Santo Pedro in a post-Sons of Anarchy world. The ensemble cast includes Sarah Bolger, Carla Baratta, Antonio Jaramillo, Raoul Max Trujillo, Richard Cabral, Danny Pino, and Emilio Rivera.
