While you could have made the argument that Robert Downey Jr. and Tony Stark are as inseparable as Hugh Jackman and Wolverine before today, his keynote speech at Amazon's re:MARS really sold it. The line between Stark and RDJ is imperceptible at this point, after the actor presented a pitch to use robotics and AI to save the Earth.

RDJ's address touched on his performances as Iron Man and his ideas — sourced from experts — to use cutting-edge tech to stop the Earth from burning up. He closed the speech by announcing his own venture, The Footprint Coalition, which aims to do just that.

“Between robotics and nanotechnology, we could clean up the planet significantly, if not totally, in 10 years,” Downey Jr. said.

RDJ provided few details about how his group was going to operate, but the spectacle of Iron Man himself talking world-saving tech was enough to set Twitter buzzing,
