Larsa Pippen believes the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal would've been a lot less messy if Jordyn Woods had simply apologized.

The former Real Housewives star and ex-wife of Scottie Pippen received backlash this year after she questioned Woods' honesty about the alleged hook-up. Woods, who has known the Kardashian family since she was a child, was accused of "making out" with Thompson while he was in a relationship with Khloé Kardashian. Woods decided to share her side of the story on Jada Pinkett-Smith's Red Table Talk series—a decision that didn't sit so well with Pippen.

"If you're gonna be doing interviews tell the truth," the Kardashian family friend wrote on Instagram. "I don't handle my problems publicly, I handle them privately."

Though Pippen's comments were met with controversy, she doubled down on her criticism in a recent interview on Hollywood Unlocked.

"If she would've just apologized, if she would've just went to Khloé's house, apologized, and basically just said, 'Look, I shouldn't have put myself in this situation,' or whatever, then none of this would've happened," Pippen said (23:50). "But it's, like, you wanna go and do public interviews.... Why would you do an interview, when all you had to do was pick up the phone call and just apologize?"

She went on to say that Thompson and Woods were both at fault, "but at the end of the day, [Woods] was the one that was close to the family." (Reminder: Thompson and Khloé were in an on-again, off-again relationship for several years and share a child together.)

Pippen said she first heard about the cheating rumors from Hollywood Unlocked host Jason Lee. She then relayed the rumor to Kim Kardashian, who initially didn't believe her.

"She was like, 'No way. There's no way,'" Pippen recalled (21:15). "And then we called Kourtney, and she was like, 'Yeah, I believe it.'"
