Sesame Street is no stranger to parodies of movies and TV shows, even if the children watching may have no idea what it's all about. HBO's latest mash-up promos might be some of the most bizarre they've ever done, as they went so far as to put Elmo and the Cookie Monster in Game of Thrones and Westworld.

In the first of the newly released videos, Elmo visits Westeros and has a brief chat with Cersei and Tyrion. He attempts to convince the two to respect each other and get along, eventually breaking through after preaching the power of working together. Released as part of the 50-year celebration of Sesame Street, the cute clip offers a charming break from the doom and gloom that permeates the actual series.

The second video also acts as a reminder to respect other individuals, with the Cookie Monster speaking directly with Dolores Abernathy and Bernard Lowe. Just like in the scene with Elmo, Cookie Monster eventually gets through to them. He even manages to get them obsessed with cookies at the end, before two puppets close out the promo with a song on the piano.

This isn't the first time Sesame Street has had a Game of Thrones moment, but this time they did get to feature the actual actors behind the characters.
