Avengers collaborators Chadwick Boseman and the Russo brothers have a non-Marvel release on the way.

STX Entertainment has shared the trailer for the Boseman-starring drama 21 Bridges, directed by Brian Kirk and produced by Joe and Anthony Russo, among others. Boseman plays an NYPD detective in pursuit of two men suspected of killing a cop. As the new trailer teases, the stakes of the chase are upped considerably when a bunch of crucial bridges are sealed off in an effort to prevent someone from leaving.

At STX's CinemaCon panel earlier this month, Boseman revealed that he shadowed real-life officers in Los Angeles and New York to prep for the part. "One of the things they talked about a lot was how the job affects them personally—how the job takes over their entire lives, and I think that's an element of this film that we try to stay true to," he said, per The Hollywood Reporter.

21 Bridges also stars J.K. Simmons, Sienna Miller, Keith David, and Taylor Kitsch. Look for it starting July 12. The trailer, featuring a reworked version of Future's 2017 hymn "Mask Off," can be found up top.

Also on Boseman's slate is Blood of Yasukeand Spike Lee's Da 5 Bloods. The Russos, meanwhile, have a little thing called Endgame on the agenda.
