Earlier this week, it was reported that Blac Chyna, real name Angela White, had successfully enrolled in an online class at Harvard Business School. However, TMZ reports that Harvard has denied that she was ever admitted to the prestigious school, explaining, "Harvard Business School Online has not admitted nor provided an acceptance letter to a person named Angela White."
In announcing her alleged acceptance to Harvard, Chyna previously said, "School is going to help me take things up a couple of notches. People are always talking about me, might as well talk about the good." The news arrived shortly after she made an Instagram post reflecting on her past, writing, "I'm not proud of some of the pain I have caused, and I am working on being the best me."
What's worse about the whole situation, is that a PR firm reportedly came up with the idea. "Our team will complete all the course work for you, all you have to do is take one test (we will provide you the study guide) and then take credit for the program," the pitch email from PR manager Christian Emiliano reportedly reads. "You can go on the Harvard campus and take a picture with a Harvard hoodie on / you can post updates on your Snapchat and Instagram Story."
Sources close to Chyna state that she decided to take the course on her own, and Emiliano also confirmed this with TMZ. It's not clear who faked the acceptance letter, however. As Page Six notes, alumni were reportedly annoyed that Chyna's association with the school would tarnish their reputation, which prompted a probe.
