Yelawolf Disses Post Malone, G-Eazy & MGK, Role Media Plays in Shaping Hip-Hop | Everyday Struggle

On Tuesday’s (March 12) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks open the show discussing J. Prince’s call-to action following the attack and robbery on YBN Almighty Jay last week. Prince warns the robbers in a lengthy IG post that they’ve “robbed a piece of him” when they stole Almighty Jay’s Rap-A-Lot Records chain. Ak and Wayno weigh in Prince’s comments and whether or not it was the right move to post the warning on social media. Later in the episode, the trio shares their thoughts on Yelawolf’s diss record “Bloody Sunday,” which takes aim at G-Eazy, Post Malone and MGK. Following this, Ak and Wayno share their thoughts on Drake reportedly dropping his Michael Jackson collab song, “Don’t Matter To Me,” from his UK tour setlist. The conversation then leads the hosts to  discuss the recent comments from Juice WRLD and T.I. defending MJ following the ‘Leaving Neverland’ documentary. Towards the end of the show, the crew answers a fan question regarding the media’s role in the direction of hip-hop, and to close out Ak, Wayno and Nadeksa give their take on ScHoolboy Q’s recent cryptic tweet and salute Apple and Google Maps for renaming Blue Slide Park after the late Mac Miller.
