During a recent episode of Everyday Struggle, Soulja Boy sat down to talk about his recent whirlwind of a press tour. During his chat, he also spoke about his controversial games consoles, alleging that the legally questionable devices were completely legal and "licensed." He even said that Nintendo approached him not because of copyright infringement but because they wanted a piece of the action. He also, curiously, claimed the next console of his would play Fortnite.

DJ Akademiks asked Soulja whether his console could play Fortnite or not, to which he responded, "We're working on it. ... Not this one, on the next one you can." Curious to hear what Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, would have to say about his claims, Dualshockers contacted the company directly. "No, you can’t play Fortnite on a rooted or jailbroken device due to anti-cheat measures," Epic Games' Senior PR Manager Nick Chester said.

So, there you have it, you won't be able to squad up with your friends in Fortnite using one of Soulja Boy's consoles in the near future. Soulja has received a lot of criticism for his video game consoles, which are actually just rebranded versions of bootleg Chinese consoles with inflated prices. The rapper has continued to deny the claims, despite numerous investigations into his consoles proving that these Anbernic-produced products have been on sale for quite some time already.
