Marvel’s angsty series Runaways is returning to Hulu next month with its second season. After running away from their evil parents, the show's teen leads have to learn how to use their super abilities to take care of themselves and each other. Check out a new trailer for season 2 above.
The first season of Runaways, adapted from the superhero comic by Brian K. Vaughn and Adrian Alphona, introduced us to a group of super teens who find out their parents are part of a secret supervillain cult. Now in season 2, the group must “scavenge for food, search for shelter, and take care of one another,” while their evil parents attempt to track them down. "Our kids begin to realize that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other," the synopsis reads. The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz and Gossip Girl co-creator Stephanie Savage are helming the series.
The series stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, Kip Pardue, and Julian McMahon.
Marvel's Runaways comes out on Hulu Dec. 21.
