Lakers versus Jazz

The Los Angeles Lakers won Friday night’s game against the Utah Jazz, but the biggest L of the night belonged to a purple-and-gold fan.

At Staples Center, the fan was given the chance to win a getaway casino package during a game called high-low. The fan had to guess if the next virtual card to appear would be higher or lower than the prior card. The first card showed Kyle Kuzma, alongside the number zero. It’s a no brainer that the correct answer was higher, because zero is the lowest number. However, the fan didn’t make the cut when he gave the wrong answer.

I'm actually so upset, this is the 2nd Lakers fan in a row that has fucked up the "higher or lower" challenge.

Tip: There is no number lower than 0!

In other NBA-related Friday news, TMZ reported that Golden State's Steph Curry was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on an Oakland highway. A car reportedly spun out and collided with Curry's Porsche at around 9 a.m.; a second car subsequently smashed into him from behind. The rainy weather is being cited as the possible cause. Luckily, Curry suffered no serious injuries.

Curry sat out the Warriors' game that evening against the Blazers with a previously sustained groin injury. Unlike that Lakers fan, Golden State ended the match with a win.
