Thanksgiving is an interesting holiday. On one hand, it’s an opportunity to eat until you're sick, sleep, and hang out (fight) with your family. But it comes with a complicated history. American history has its warts, but have you ever imagined what our country would look like if Donald Trump had landed on Plymouth Rock?

Well Jimmy Kimmel did, and it ain't pretty. With the help of a group of fifth graders from Palm Beach, Florida who go to school in Mar-A-Lago’s district, Kimmel presented “The First Trumpsgiving” on Tuesday's show, a school play-esque production that reimagines the classic, mythical Thanksgiving story with Trump in the mix.

“Over the last 400 or so years, the story of Thanksgiving hasn’t changed much,” the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host said. “We learn it in school and it’s fine, but this year we wanted to spice it up.”

In this version, Trump arrives to North America on his private yacht “The Mayflower,” and immediately decides to build a "huge" golf course. Soon after, he meets a group of Native Americans, who he immediately labels immigrants. "Oh no, it's the caravan of immigrants from South America!” the child actor shouts (the kid playing Trump is scary good, by the way).

"We're Native Americans," the other two kids say.

"Well we're American Americans and we were here first," the fake Trump replies, as he likely would have IRL.

When it comes time for the ceremonial meal, Trump and Melania bring a “wall” of cornbread. “And you’re gonna pay for it” the fifth grader shouts.

In the end, the meal is complete thanks to a kid dressed up as a bucket of KFC. Check out the entire clip in the video up top.
