Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.

Earlier this month, Chris Evans bid farewell to Marvel and his role as Captain America. "Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least,” he tweeted. “Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor.”

According to multiple reports, the first Avengers 4 trailer is dropping before the end of this year. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long to get a glimpse of the heroes in a post-Thanos snap world. The film hits theaters on May 3, 2019, following the release of Captain Marvelon March 8.
