According to Deadline, comedian JB Smoove is being added to the cast of next year's new Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home. While Smoove's particular role has been unconfirmed by Sony, Deadline adds that it's expected to be a "lead in the ensemble." Smoove is just the second actor to be announced as a new member of the potential trilogy's cast, as he comes in addition to Jake Gyllenhaal, who's expected to portray the main villain (Mysterio).

As for actors who are already apart of the franchise, Michael Keaton (Vulture), Zendaya (MJ), and Marisa Tomei (hot Aunt May) are expected to reprise their roles. The director for Spider-Man: Homecoming, Jon Watts, is set to return in that role as well, though he won't get a credit as a screenwriter like he did for that film.

As for a premise, the movie is set to take place after next year's thus far untitled Avengers film, with Peter Parker/Spider-Man on vacation in Europe with his friends (hence the title). Consider yourselves a step closer to the Insidious, or Sinister Six, or whatever they want to call it.

Anyway, you can confirm the details of Smoove's specific involvement with your own eyeballs when the film hits theaters on July 5, 2019.
