Anderson, who's being investigating for allegedly assaulting a woman following an event she catered for him, denies the allegations. The woman filed a police report with the Hollywood Division of the LAPD earlier in the year. Details of the alleged assault, which reportedly happened over a year ago, are currently unknown. The assault allegedly took place when the woman met with Anderson to talk business.
"It's unfortunate that anyone can file a police report whether it is true or false," a rep for the Black-ish star told TMZ. "The authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter. Anthony unequivocally disputes the claim."
Sources told The Blast that the woman partly felt comfortable coming forward to police because of the #MeToo movement.
Anderson, along with an assistant director, was previously charged with raping a woman on the set of 2004's Hustle & Flow film. The charges were eventually dropped with the judge saying that the case was "suspicious."
