'Game of Thrones' Stars Rose Leslie And Kit Harington Are Married

'Game of Thrones' co-stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington officially tied the knot in Scotland. Several of their co-stars were also in attendance to witness the ceremony.

Game of Thrones may have a bad reputation when it comes to weddings, but that doesn't mean true love can't blossom with the show's stars in real life.

In this case, the HBO show's co-stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington tied the knot. As fans recall, Leslie portrayed Ygritte, who was the love interest of Harington's Jon Snow throughout seasons 2-4. The two were reportedly on-again, off-again for a while until they made their red carpet debut in 2016 during the Olivier Awards.

“If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love,” Harington told L’Uomo Vogue a month after their couple debut. Although their relationship ended tragically in Game of Thrones (like most of the show's relationships), last September, the IRL couple announced their engagement in the Times of London.

The ceremony was held in Rayne Church in Aberdeenshire, Scotland on Saturday with several of their co-stars in attendance—including Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams. And fortunately for them, George R.R. Martin had nothing to do with the wedding planning process.

The couple will likely be back from their honeymoon before Game of Thrones returns for its final season. It's slated to air in 2019.
