'The Daily Show,' Hillary Clinton, and Many More Ethered the GOP Debate on Twitter

The GOP debate was shown no mercy.

Marriage equality is the law of the land. Officials don't have to agree—but they do have to uphold the law. #GOPdebate

Tonight’s GOP debate may be over but the memes that have been left in its wake continue. Dumbfoundead, recently featured in Keith Ape’s video for “IT G MA REMIX,” took the most genius, creative approach of the night by Snapchatting the candidates using the app's new features with highly entertaining results. Elsewhere on Twitter Hillary Clinton clapped back at her GOP opponents reminding people where she stands on critical issues like marriage equality and women's rights. Trevor Noah and The Daily Show got into the mix by poking fun at candidates and CNN, making light of their failed attempt to find the MH730 missing plane. Even white guy talk show host Bill Maher took shots at his fellow white guys talking onstage.

Women—not the politicians on stage—should make decisions about their own reproductive health care. Period. #GOPdebate

.@realdonaldtrump should stop complimenting women and start respecting them. #GOPdebate

That last one is particularly hilarious when you take into account that Trump said he would "take care" of women and actually said he respected them. Y'know, just like he's respected Carly Fiorina, Megyn Kelly, and other women in the past.

Let's move on to Trevor Noah:

Two minutes in, and its kindergarden slams about who's ugly. Even professional wrestlers are like, Guys, c'mon...a little dignity.

Don't adjust your sets, Scott Walker's face really looks like that

— Bill Maher (@billmaher) September 17, 2015

How about asking the one woman on the stage about Planned Parenthood

— Bill Maher (@billmaher) September 17, 2015

Bill Maher's hot take:

Oh fuck, their best friend, Ben Gazi...I can't stand these assholes for one more minute - peace out!
