Jon Stewart Says Goodbye to Fox News: "Adios, Motherf****rs!"

Jon Stewart, in an emotional plea for national sanity, takes Fox News to task for the last time (?).

Since the Sugar Ray-saturated and Prince-predicted year of reckoning known as 1999, impenetrable comedian Jon Stewart has given us hours upon hours of masterful Fox News evisceration via The Daily Show on Comedy Central. As you know, such brilliance comes to an emotional end this week — with Stewart's final stint as Daily Show host aiming at our "skeptically idealistic" hearts on August 6. Proving that even one's enemies deserve a fitting farewell, Stewart expressed his parting thoughts regarding the Fox conglomerate during Monday's show.

"Your hypocrisy isn’t a bug in the Fox model," says Stewart in what might very well be his final act of Fox News evisceration. "It’s the feature. Your job is to discredit any source of criticism that might hurt the conservative brand." Stewart takes particular aim at Fox's recent insistence that the he held a number of so-called "secret meetings" with President Barack Obama, rebuking claims of collusion by simply holding up the metaphorical mirror.

"My hunch is this show has been harder on the Obama administration and this president per capita then you ever were in your eight years of Bush finger-banging," Stewart declares, pairing his comparison with characteristically damning video evidence. Promptly summoning a background of uncontrollable fire, Stewart then offers his inarguably sincere farewell: "Adios, motherfuckers!"

I'm going to miss typing these words: Jon Stewart absolutely destroys Fox News.
