Donald Trump keeps getting dumped—for super racist comments he made about Mexican immigrants when he announced his run for Republican presidential candidate. Trump has not only not apologized for his remarks, but is suing Spanish-language television network Univision for cutting ties with him—and banned all Univision staff members from his golf course.
Celebrities and CEOs alike have continued to speak out again Trump—but a craft brewery is going an extra step in denouncing the billionaire. 5 Rabbit Cerveceria, a Bedford Park brewery that makes an exclusive beer for a restaurant in Chicago's Trump Tower, has ended their relationship with the bar, according to Fortune.
Wait for it—that's not all: 5 Rabbit also pulled the custom-made beer from Trump's restaurant and is reselling it to other vendors under a new name: Chinga Tu Pelo, which means "f*ck your hair" in Spanish.
5 Rabbit, which was founded by a group Mexican and Costa Ricans, had this to say about Trump's comments (via Fortune):
“We are active members of this immigrant community and we need to stand up for ourselves, and more importantly, for those who do not have the voice or means to do so,” said [co-owner Andres] Araya in a statement. “The very foundation of the United States of America was built on acceptance and inclusion. That is what drew us here, and that’s what why we feel so strongly about this.”
Araya added in his statement, "It would be hypocritical of us to sustain the relationship."
"On a personal level, if I did, one of the things that scares me the most is sending the wrong message to my daughters," he wrote.
