A guy who wanted to draw attention to an unsustainable culture of political correctness and wanted to get to use the word "offensive" as many times as possible made an online petition to get Cracker Barrel to change its name to Caucasian Barrel. "It uses an offensive slur and it is deeply offensive," Ryan Koch from Des Moines, Iowa wrote in the campaign description. It was, by and large, a joke—but it's gotten nearly 1,500 supporters in four days. Now, Koch has some more words he'd like to say about the whole thing.

In a petition update titled "People, it's SATIRE!", Koch explains why he set up the page. "The petition was meant to shed light on how ridiculous all of the political correctness currently going on in the country is," he writes, adding, "we should focus on real issues such as crime, unemployment, veteran suicide, and corrupt politics."

His true feelings on the dining establishment are pretty run-of-the-mill. "I do not have any ill feelings toward the restaurant chain, and I enjoy dining at their locations frequently," he concedes.

You can read plenty of people in the raging comments section going "I knew that!" and trying to one-up each other regarding who is the least offended (or most offended) that other people were offended.
