Hollywood power couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are no more. The two are splitting after ten years of marriage, People reports. They issued a joint statement announcing the news through the magazine:
"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."
The former couple's statement comes after increasing speculation surrounding their future in recent years, though neither of them have previously addressed any issues publicly — aside from Affleck's Oscar speech in 2013, accepting the award for Best Picture for Argo:
The couple married in 2005 and have three children together — two daughters and a son.
