Video footage of a shooting that took place inside of a Bronx bodega during the filming of a music video over the weekend has been released as police continue to search for the gunman.

According to the New York Post, a surveillance camera captured the incident, which took place inside of the Morrisania store early Saturday morning:

The video shows a man in a red polo t-shirt and gray pants walking towards the 37-year-old victim inside the store on Webster Avenue in Morrisania at approximately 1:10 a.m. Saturday and squeezed off several rounds at the man. The brazen brute — holding a canned beverage — then pistol whips the downed man four times, without spilling his drink.

The Post adds that the gunman escaped with a group, while the victim was transported to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition. While the NYPD has yet to identify a reason for the conflict, they note that the gunman and the victim were engaged in an argument immediately before the shooting took place.

Police hope the release of the video will aid their search for the suspect, who they described to the Post as a man "[in his] 30’s and [with] braided hair."
